About me

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Shiv Sawh but all my friends call me "Shivan". I grew up my whole life in Trinidad and Tobago but I have plans to visit as much countries as I possibly can in this journey called life.

I am working full time and also studying Mass Communications at the College of Science, Technology and Applied Art of Trinidad and Tobago (it is quite a mouth full, we call it COSTAATT for short).

I have a true passion for learning and for teaching others the things I've discovered. I enjoy music, films, books, art and especially history from my home in Trinidad and Tobago as well as around the world.


Over the last few years I've also discovered a passion for debating and my team from COSTAATT won the "Integrity Matters Tertiary Level Debate Competition" hosted by the Integrity Commission of Trinidad and Tobago in March 2015.

We are hoping to repeat this success as we have entered the The World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) to be hosted in Thessaloniki, Greece from Dec 26th 2015 to January 4th 2016.
